It all began with hating ballet in 1987. If it were not for her parents arriving late to pick her up from ballet, Anne would not have heard the karate yells coming from down the hall. Curiously she peeked into the room and immediately fell in love with the martial arts. She conviced her parents to let her try the karate class over the summer by promising to return to ballet afterwards. She never did keep that promise.
Over the years Anne practiced several martial arts styles, but always in addition to her primary style of Taekwondo. In 2005 she received her 4th Dan in Taekwondo, and was promoted to Master.
Bridger Anne Fox has been running her own non-profit club, Progressive Martial Arts, since 1999. She teaches at Hwa Rang Kwan on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7.30-9.00pm, and is also available for Basic Trainings and Private Lessons.
